The Ascending Initiates

This site was such an honor to create. As an ascending initiate myself, I was excited to help create a community where others can find amazing healers to work with. The requirement was to have a directory that would showcase each individual’s talents. The directory needed to be easily maintainable by someone else and easy to add additional people to the directory. WordPress was the logical choice with it’s extensive plugin structure.

After doing research on Member Directory plugins, I recommended a plugin called ‘Connections Pro’. It has a nice modern look and feel and allows for all the features we needed. In addition, the author continues to update the plugin regularly with fixes and new features. Always a plus in the WordPress World.

The goal was to keep the site as simple as possible and feel connected to the Alpha Imaging portal site while still having it’s own identity. Geoff from A-Line Graphics created the awesome images in the banner at the top of each page. The site is built with the Divi theme. I love that you can create a unique look and feel with the Divi theme no matter what the content or site is that you are creating. It’s my favorite page builder for Word Press.
