Hi, I’m Sheila, a technology consultant, web designer, project manager and author. I help heart-centered business owners, the lightworkers of the world, with technology. I build websites and make technology work for them, so they can spend more time focusing on growing their business and doing what they love.

I’ve found that many people are using Mailchimp because you can use it for free up to 2000 subscribers. Yet, Mailchimp offers very few formatting options for free. My favorite email marketing tool is Mailerlite. You can use it for free for up to 1000 subscribers and it ends up being cheaper in the long run when you have a larger list. The best thing? It allows you to completely customize your opt-in forms any way you want!

In a previous post, I wrote about how to format a Mailchimp form to create an opt-in banner. It can be done and it can be embedded into any of the website tools, but it takes a bit of coding and some work.

Mailerlite allows you to completely format and customize the form in Mailerlite and then just embed the code. It’s super easy!!
